Pam Ram

Human Resources Senior Manager with 22+ years of experience

Professionally CIPD qualified at Level 5, Associate Level, and holding the QQI qualification at Level 6 in People Management.

Currently studying the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management.

Jeannette Knights

Jeannette has been a School Governor for over 20 years in different settings and was a  designated National Leader of Governance for 4 years as well as  Chair of Governors of an “Outstanding” Special School for 15+ years. 

As an NLG she works with schools providing a variety of support to improve and embed good governance including:

  • preparing for Ofsted, understanding the Governance Role,
  • understanding the boundaries between Governance and Management,
  • improving Governors’ ability to appropriately challenge their school
  • Chairing Rapid Recovery Groups.

Jeannette, in her professional role, worked as a School Business Manager in a primary school and then an SEND school for over 10 years.  This has allowed her to experience Governance from both a Governor and school perspective.

Emmanuel Akin

A community activist born and raised in Hackney. Emmanuel has spent all his life dedicated to campaigning for youth justice tackling inequality and providing more voices for young people. Being a young person disproportionately impacted both racially and systemically Emmanuel has transformed his negative experiences to form a platform which empowers and encourages young people in disadvantaged positions to not only hope but to also access a better future for opportunities.

As a professional keynote speaker and a political activist he’s now been recognised as a leading pioneer in youth engagement and community service nationally across London, he now sits on various scrutiny boards and is involved in major programmes that effectively combats youth injustices.

Amanda Wilson

Amanda is a headteacher at a 1 form entry primary school in Greenwich and has over 20 years’ experience in the education sector. 

As a qualified coach and trainee Transactional Analysis psychotherapist, Amanda has a track record for supporting teachers in securing leadership roles. She also supports those already in leadership roles, providing them with a safe space to work through the many situations that leadership can present. Amanda helps leaders to think strategically; identifying solutions that have lasting impact. She delivers training sessions which use elements of Transactional Analysis as a foundation for helping individuals to improve their communication skills and enhance interpersonal relationships. 

Amanda is the founder of the First 100 Days Headteachers Conference, an annual conference aimed at new and aspiring headteachers. 

She is a contributor to TES and a judge for their annual awards, delivers training on the Teach First NPQ courses and sits on a number of education committees within the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
